As a child I always had a fascination with reptiles. It all began by watching wrestling- Jake the Snake Roberts as part of the World Wrestling Entertainment. I was captivated by his Burmese python and cobra. I then asked my dad if I could get one to which he refused with the response, "You'd be scared to hold one".

Many years later I met my current partner who also shares my love for reptiles. Together we visited multiple pet stores in Belfast and began to watch snake videos on Youtube. Before we knew it, we purchased a snow corn snake and it has escalated from there. I can still remember what we said that day we brought that corn snake home: "Just one snake". 
That quickly went out the window when a week later we bought our second corn snake- an amel. After 9 months, we decided to get something else- a bumblebee royal python which took months to find in Belfast. I always wanted a bumblebee after seeing one on SnakeBytes and nothing else would do. We then branched out into leopard geckos - purchasing a normal followed by a RAPTOR, again due to Brian from SnakeBytes. That guy has lots to answer for. After the geckos, we obtained a mojave royal python, a pinstripe royal python and a butter royal python within a 3 month period.

My passion for reptiles keeps growing and with every Youtube video and visits to reptile shops, there is always something that catches my attention. It's a never ending fascination which makes me feel fulfilled.
